Unplugged Magic at Captain’s Cabin!
If you were at Captain’s Cabin on the evening of February 16, you know exactly what we’re talking about. If you weren’t? Well, you missed a pretty special night of music.
Our friends were treated to the second installment of the Between Dreams 'Unplugged Collaborations', and it did not disappoint.
The much anticipated second set featured Max Jones of Aurora Band joining Dwight Stroh of Between Dreams. The acoustic setting brought a heartfelt energy that filled the room.
And just when we thought it couldn't get better, the night brought a bonus performance when Kevin Mason Jr and Christina Mason joined the fun. Though this part was unrehearsed the talent shone through!

Working on my own metamorphosis from rock bands to solo acoustic shows has made me realize just how much incredible talent surrounds me here in the Bandon/Coos Bay area. This has encouraged me to add a little something different to some of my shows. Hence, the 'Unplugged Collaborations' series!
The goal? To share the stage with fellow musicians wanting to try their hand at acoustic tunes, or just collaborate for the fun of it in a 'new to us' duo situation. Note...this is not another 'jam'. These 8 to 10 songs will be rehearsed for weeks before, in hopes of delivering a polished experience during the second half of occasional Between Dreams shows!
We kicked this off on January 19th, 2026 at Captain’s Cabin—a place where 'everybody knows your name'—with my former Rockipedia bandmate, the amazing Ms. Mary Johnson! What a great time was had by all!
